DAY 2

PRAY GLOBALLY GATHER LOCALLY

The Son of God

For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him. Whoever believes in him is not condemned, but whoever does not believe stands condemned already because they have not believed in the name of Gods one and only Son. John3:16-18

SEEK HIS FACE AND HONOUR HIM:

As the Son, sent by God the Father, Jesus clearly demonstrated the love of God by His willingness to humble Himself and be clothed with sinful flesh, so that whoever believes He is the Son of God would receive eternal life.

PRAY:

  • For the Church to understand the necessity of repentance and forgiveness, the privilege of partaking of the divine nature of God.
  • For the Church to become as true sons of God by the Spirit of adoption, and demonstrate their deliverance from sin through their holy lifestyles, good works, and willingness to be placed on the altar as living sacrifices.
  • For the world to understand that Jesus truly is the Son of the living God; for the removal of all the misrepresentations of Christ, and lies concerning Him, God the Father, and the Holy Spirit.

Read and meditate on Revelation3 and 4

Day 1

PRAY GLOBALLY GATHER LOCALLY

The Image of the Invisible God

The Son is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn over all creation. For in him all things were created: things in heaven and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or powers or rulers or authorities; all things have been created through him and for him.Colossians1:15-16

SEEK HIS FACE AND HONOUR HIM:

As our Creator; the Alpha and the Omega; the Beginning and the End, the First and the Last; the One in whom you were chosen since the foundation of the world.

PRAY:

  • For the Church to faithfully acknowledge the Creator in a world that is filled with lies.
  • For the Church to become Christ-like in all their conduct, and so make the invisible God visible.
  • For the world to see and experience Jesus Christ, and the image of the invisible God revealed through the love, actions, words and compassion evident in the lives of ordinary Christians, and so be convinced of Gods existence.

Read and meditate on Revelation1 and 2

FOCUS

Daniel 12:9-13, NIV: Many will be purified, made spotless and refined, but the wicked will continue to be wicked. None of the wicked will understand, but those who are wise will understand. “From the time that the daily sacrifice is abolished and the abomination that causes desolation is set up, there will be 1,290 days. Blessed is the one who waits for and reaches the end of the 1,335 days. “As for you, go your way till the end. You will rest, and then at the end of the days you will rise to receive your allotted inheritance.”

ADORATION

John 1:14, NIV: The Word became flesh and made his dwelling among us. We have seen his glory, the glory of the One and Only, who came from the Father, full of grace and truth.

CONFESSION

Hosea 14:1-2, NIV: Return, O Israel, to the LORD your God. Your sins have been your downfall! Take words with you and return to the LORD. Say to him: “Forgive all our sins and receive us graciously, that we may offer the fruit of our lips.

THANKSGIVING

Matthew 21:21-22, NIV: Jesus replied, “I tell you the truth, if you have faith and do not doubt, not only can you do what was done to the fig tree, but also you can say to this mountain, ‘Go, throw yourself into the sea,’ and it will be done. If you believe, you will receive whatever you ask for in prayer.”

SUPPLICATION

Matthew 11:5-6, NIV: The blind receive sight, the lame walk, those who have leprosy are cured, the deaf hear, the dead are raised, and the good news is preached to the poor. Blessed is the man who does not fall away on account of me.”

ADORATION

Isaiah 61:8-9, NIV: “For I, the LORD, love justice; I hate robbery and iniquity. In my faithfulness I will reward them and make an everlasting covenant with them. CONFESSION

Daniel 11:33-35, NIV: “Those who are wise will instruct many, though for a time they will fall by the sword or be burned or captured or plundered. When they fall, they will receive a little help, and many who are not sincere will join them. Some of the wise will stumble, so that they may be refined, purified and made spotless until the time of the end, for it will still come at the appointed time.

THANKSGIVING

Anyone who receives a prophet because he is a prophet will receive a prophet’s reward, and anyone who receives a righteous man because he is a righteous man will receive a righteous man’s reward. And if anyone gives even a cup of cold water to one of these little ones because he is my disciple, I tell you the truth, he will certainly not lose his reward.”

You give me your shield of victory, and your right hand sustains me; you stoop down to make me great. You broaden the path beneath me, so that my ankles do not turn.

Romans 8:30, NKJ: Moreover whom he did predestinate, them he also called: and whom he called, them he also justified: and whom he justified, them he also glorified.

ADORATION

John 17:24, NIV: “Father, I want those you have given me to be with me where I am, and to see my glory, the glory you have given me because you loved me before the creation of the world.”

CONFESSION

Colossians 3:5-10, NIV: Put to death, therefore, whatever belongs to your earthly nature: sexual immorality, impurity, lust, evil desires and greed, which is idolatry. Because of these, the wrath of God is coming. You used to walk in these ways, in the life you once lived. But now you must rid yourselves of all such things as these: anger, rage, malice, slander, and filthy language from your lips. Do not lie to each other, since you have taken off your old self with its practices and have put on the new self, which is being renewed in knowledge in the image of its Creator.

THANKSGIVING

2 Peter 1:10-11, NIV: Therefore, my brothers, be all the more eager to make your calling and election sure. For if you do these things, you will never fall, and you will receive a rich welcome into the eternal kingdom of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

FOCUS

Romans 5:8-11, NIV: But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us. Since we have now been justified by his blood, how much more shall we be saved from God’s wrath through him! For if, when we were God’s enemies, we were reconciled to him through the death of his Son, how much more, having been reconciled, shall we be saved through his life! Not only is this so, but we also rejoice in God through our Lord Jesus Christ, through whom we have now received reconciliation.

ADORATION

John 17:22-23, NIV: I have given them the glory that you gave me, that they may be one as we are one: I in them and you in me. May they be brought to complete unity to let the world know that you sent me and have loved them even as you have loved me.

CONFESSION

Mark 13:22-23, NIV: For false Christs and false prophets will appear and perform signs and miracles to deceive the elect, if that were possible. So be on your guard; I have told you everything ahead of time.

THANKSGIVING

1 Corinthians 1:2-3, NIV: To the church of God in Corinth, to those sanctified in Christ Jesus and called to be holy, together with all those everywhere who call on the name of our Lord Jesus Christ their Lord and ours: Grace and peace to you from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.

SUPPLICATION

Proverbs 29:14, NIV: If a king judges the poor with fairness, his throne will always be secure.

FOCUS

Romans 8:1-2, NIV: Therefore, there is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus, because through Christ Jesus the law of the Spirit of life set me free from the law of sin and death.

ADORATION

John 6:39-40, NIV: And this is the will of him who sent me, that I shall lose none of all that he has given me, but raise them up at the last day. For my Father’s will is that everyone who looks to the Son and believes in him shall have eternal life, and I will raise him up at the last day.”

CONFESSION

Romans 16:17-19, NIV: I urge you, brothers, to watch out for those who cause divisions and put obstacles in your way that are contrary to the teaching you have learned. Keep away from them. For such people are not serving our Lord Christ, but their own appetites. By smooth talk and flattery they deceive the minds of naive people. Everyone has heard about your obedience, so I am full of joy over you; but I want you to be wise about what is good, and innocent about what is evil.

THANKSGIVING

Romans 3:22-26, NIV: This righteousness from God comes through faith in Jesus Christ to all who believe. There is no difference, for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, and are justified freely by his grace through the redemption that came by Christ Jesus. God presented him as a sacrifice of atonement, through faith in his blood. He did this to demonstrate his justice, because in his forbearance he had left the sins committed beforehand unpunished, he did it to demonstrate his justice at the present time, so as to be just and the one who justifies those who have faith in Jesus.

SUPPLICATION

Proverbs 14:26, NIV: He who fears the Lord has a secure fortress, and for his children it will be a refuge.

FACTS Apr 6-12/14

FOCUS

Romans 8:17, NIV: Now if we are children, then we are heirs, heirs of God and co-heirs with Christ, if indeed we share in his sufferings in order that we may also share in his glory.

ADORATION

John 5:24, NIV: “I tell you the truth, whoever hears my word and believes him who sent me has eternal life and will not be condemned; he has crossed over from death to life.”

CONFESSION

1 Corinthians 3:18-19, NIV: Do not deceive yourselves. If any one of you thinks he is wise by the standards of this age, he should become a “fool” so that he may become wise. For the wisdom of this world is foolishness in God’s sight.

THANKSGIVING

Colossians 2:2-5, NIV: My purpose is that they may be encouraged in heart and united in love, so that they may have the full riches of complete understanding, in order that they may know the mystery of God, namely, Christ, in whom are hidden all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge. I tell you this so that no one may deceive you by fine-sounding arguments. For though I am absent from you in body, I am present with you in spirit and delight to see how orderly you are and how firm your faith in Christ is.

SUPPLICATION

Romans 16:20, NIV: The God of peace will soon crush Satan under your feet. The grace of our Lord Jesus be with you.
