FACTS Sept 7-13, 2014

FOCUS

2 Chronicles 19:9-10, NIV: He gave them these orders: “You must serve faithfully and wholeheartedly in the fear of the LORD.

ADORATION

Deuteronomy 32:4, NIV: He is the Rock, his works are perfect, and all his ways are just. A faithful God who does no wrong, upright and just is he.

CONFESSION

Isaiah 1:23, NIV: Your rulers are rebels, companions of thieves; they all love bribes and chase after gifts. They do not defend the cause of the fatherless; the widow’s case does not come before them.

THANKSGIVING

Isaiah 1:24-25, NIV: Therefore the Lord, the LORD Almighty, the Mighty One of Israel, declares: “Ah, I will get relief from my foes and avenge myself on my enemies. I will turn my hand against you; I will thoroughly purge away your dross and remove all your impurities.”

SUPPLICATION

Exodus 18:21-23, NIV: But select capable men from all the people–men who fear God, trustworthy men who hate dishonest gain–and appoint them as officials over thousands, hundreds, fifties and tens. Have them serve as judges for the people at all times, but have them bring every difficult case to you; the simple cases they can decide themselves. That will make your load lighter, because they will share it with you. If you do this and God so commands, you will be able to stand the strain, and all these people will go home satisfied.”
