FACTS Nov 17-23/13

FOCUS

Acts 6:3-4, NIV: Brothers, choose seven men from among you who are known to be full of the Spirit and wisdom. We will turn this responsibility over to them and will give our attention to prayer and the ministry of the word.

ADORATION

Luke 18:27-30, NIV: Jesus replied, “What is impossible with men is possible with God.” Peter said to him, “We have left all we had to follow you!” “I tell you the truth,” Jesus said to them, “no one who has left home or wife or brothers or parents or children for the sake of the kingdom of God will fail to receive many times as much in this age and, in the age to come, eternal life.”

CONFESSION

Acts 20:28-31, NIV: Keep watch over yourselves and all the flock of which the Holy Spirit has made you overseers. Be shepherds of the church of God, which he bought with his own blood. I know that after I leave, savage wolves will come in among you and will not spare the flock. Even from your own number men will arise and distort the truth in order to draw away disciples after them. So be on your guard! Remember that for three years I never stopped warning each of you night and day with tears.

THANKSGIVING

Romans 12:9, NIV: Love must be sincere. Hate what is evil; cling to what is good.

SUPPLICATION

Acts 2:42, NIV: They devoted themselves to the apostles’ teaching and to the fellowship, to the breaking of bread and to prayer.
