FACTS Dec 9-15, 2018
FOCUS
Isaiah 2:22, AMP: Stop regarding man, whose breath [of life] is in his nostrils [for so little time]; for why should he be esteemed?
ADORATION
Job 38:8-11, NIV: “Who shut up the sea behind doors when it burst forth from the womb, when I made the clouds its garment and wrapped it in thick darkness, when I fixed limits for it and set its doors and bars in place, when I said, ‘This far you may come and no farther; here is where your proud waves halt’?
CONFESSION
1 Corinthians 4:18-21, NIV: Some of you have become arrogant, as if I were not coming to you. But I will come to you very soon, if the Lord is willing, and then I will find out not only how these arrogant people are talking, but what power they have. For the kingdom of God is not a matter of talk but of power. What do you prefer? Shall I come to you with a rod of discipline, or shall I come in love and with a gentle spirit?
THANKSGIVING
Romans 1:5, NKJV: Through Him we have received grace and apostleship for obedience to the faith among all nations for His name.
SUPPLICATION
2 Corinthians 4:16-18, NIV: Therefore we do not lose heart. Though outwardly we are wasting away, yet inwardly we are being renewed day by day. For our light and momentary troubles are achieving for us an eternal glory that far outweighs them all. So we fix our eyes not on what is seen, but on what is unseen, since what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal.
