FACTS Sept 2-8/12

FOCUS

1 Corinthians 13:4-5, NLT: Love is patient and kind. Love is not jealous or boastful or proud.

ADORATION

1 Peter 2:24-25, NLT: He personally carried our sins in his body on the cross so that we can be dead to sin and live for what is right. By his wounds you are healed. Once you were like sheep who wandered away. But now you have turned to your Shepherd, the Guardian of your souls.

CONFESSION

Hebrews 13:11-14, NLT: Under the old system, the high priest brought the blood of animals into the Holy Place as a sacrifice for sin, and the bodies of the animals were burned outside the camp. So also Jesus suffered and died outside the city gates to make his people holy by means of his own blood. So let us go out to him, outside the camp, and bear the disgrace he bore. For this world is not our permanent home; we are looking forward to a home yet to come.

THANKSGIVING

Galatians 6:2-3, NLT: Share each other’s burdens, and in this way obey the law of Christ. If you think you are too important to help someone, you are only fooling yourself. You are not that important.

SUPPLICATION

1 Peter 4:8-9, NLT: Most important of all, continue to show deep love for each other, for love covers a multitude of sins. Cheerfully share your home with those who need a meal or a place to stay.
