FOCUS

Luke 18:1-3 (MSG): 1-3Jesus told them a story showing that it was necessary for them to pray consistently and never quit. He said, “There was once a judge in some city who never gave God a thought and cared nothing for people. A widow in that city kept after him: ‘My rights are being violated. Protect me!’

ADORATION

Psalm 47:1-3, 6 (NLT): 1Come, everyone! Clap your hands! Shout to God with joyful praise! 2 For the Lord Most High is awesome. He is the great King of all the earth. 3 He subdues the nations before us, putting our enemies beneath our feet. God has ascended with a mighty shout. The Lord has ascended with trumpets blaring. 6 Sing praises to God, sing praises; sing praises to our King, sing praises!

CONFESSION

Luke 18:13-14 (MSG): 13“Meanwhile the tax man, slumped in the shadows, his face in his hands, not daring to look up, said, ‘God, give mercy. Forgive me, a sinner.’” 14Jesus commented, “This tax man, not the other, went home made right with God. If you walk around with your nose in the air, you’re going to end up flat on your face, but if you’re content to be simply yourself, you will become more than yourself.”

THANKSGIVING

Luke 18:6-7 (MSG): 6-7So what makes you think God won’t step in and work justice for his chosen people, who continue to cry out for help? Won’t he stick up for them? I assure you, he will. He will not drag his feet. But how much of that kind of persistent faith will the Son of Man find on the earth when he returns?”

SUPPLICATION

Psalm 47: 7-9 (NLT): 7 For God is the King over all the earth. Praise him with a psalm. 8 God reigns above the nations, sitting on his holy throne. 9 The rulers of the world have gathered together with the people of the God of Abraham. For all the kings of the earth belong to God. He is highly honored everywhere.

FOCUS

John 20:26-27 (NIV): 26 A week later his disciples were in the house again, and Thomas was with them. Though the doors were locked, Jesus came and stood among them and said, “Peace be with you!”  27 Then he said to Thomas, “Put your finger here; see my hands. Reach out your hand and put it into my side. Stop doubting and believe.”

ADORATION

John 5:25-29 (TLB): 25 “And I solemnly declare that the time is coming, in fact, it is here, when the dead shall hear my voice-the voice of the Son of God-and those who listen shall live. 26 The Father has life in himself, and has granted his Son to have life in himself, 27 and to judge the sins of all mankind because he is the Son of Man. 28 Don’t be so surprised! Indeed the time is coming when all the dead in their graves shall hear the voice of God’s Son, 29 and shall rise again-those who have done good, to eternal life; and those who have continued in evil, to judgment.

CONFESSION

John 5:43-44 (NIV): 43 I have come in my Father’s name, and you do not accept me; but if someone else comes in his own name, you will accept him. 44 How can you believe if you accept praise from one another, yet make no effort to obtain the praise that comes from the only God?

THANKSGIVING

Galatians 2:20-21 (TLB): 20 I have been crucified with Christ: and I myself no longer live, but Christ lives in me. And the real life I now have within this body is a result of my trusting in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me. 21 I am not one of those who treats Christ’s death as meaningless. For if we could be saved by keeping Jewish laws, then there was no need for Christ to die.

SUPPLICATION

Ephesians 4:14-15 (TLB): 14 Then we will no longer be like children, forever changing our minds about what we believe because someone has told us something different or has cleverly lied to us and made the lie sound like the truth. 15 Instead, we will lovingly follow the truth at all times-speaking truly, dealing truly, living truly –and so become more and more in every way like Christ who is the Head of his body, the Church. Under his direction, the whole body is fitted together perfectly, and each part in its own special way helps the other parts, so that the whole body is healthy and growing and full of love.

Proverbs 4:20-23 (NKJV): 20 “My son, give attention to my words; incline your ear to my sayings. 21 Do not let them depart from your eyes; keep them in the midst of your heart; 22 For they are life to those who find them, and health to all their flesh. 23 Keep your heart with all diligence, for out of it spring the issues of life.”

ADORATION

Lamentations 3:22-23 (NLT): 22 The faithful love of the Lord never ends! His mercies never cease. 23 Great is his faithfulness; his mercies begin afresh each morning.

CONFESSION

Psalm 38:15-16 (AMP/NIV): 15 ‘I wait for you, O Lord; you will answer, O Lord my God. 16 For I pray, “May they not rejoice over me, who, when my foot slips, would boast against me.”  21 Lord, do not forsake me; do not be far from me, my God. 22 Come quickly to help me, my Lord and my Savior.

THANKSGIVING

Matthew 6:22-23 (NKJV):22 “The lamp of the body is the eye. If therefore your eye is good, your whole body will be full of light.23 But if your eye is bad, your whole body will be full of darkness. If therefore the light that is in you is darkness, how great is that darkness!

SUPPLICATION

Luke 6:48-49 (MSG): 48 “If you work the words into your life, you are like a smart carpenter who dug deep and laid the foundation of his house on bedrock. When the river burst its banks and crashed against the house, nothing could shake it; it was built to last. But if you just use my words in Bible studies and don’t work them into your life, you are like a dumb carpenter who built a house but skipped the foundation. When the swollen river came crashing in, it collapsed like a house of cards. It was a total loss.”

2 Corinthian 3:3 (NLT): 3 Clearly, you are a letter from Christ showing the result of our ministry among you. This “letter” is written not with pen and ink, but with the Spirit of the living God. It is carved not on tablets of stone, but on human hearts.

ADORATION

Hebrews 8:10 (NLT): 10 But this is the new covenant I will make with the people of Israel on that day, says the Lord: I will put my laws in their minds, and I will write them on their hearts. I will be their God, and they will be my people.

CONFESSION

Exodus 34:5-7a (NLT): 5 Then the Lord came down in a cloud and stood there with him; and he called out his own name, Yahweh. 6 The Lord passed in front of Moses, calling out, “Yahweh! The Lord! The God of compassion and mercy! I am slow to anger and filled with unfailing love and faithfulness. 7a I lavish unfailing love to a thousand generations. I forgive iniquity, rebellion, and sin.”

THANKSGIVING

2 Corinthians 3:4-6 (NLT): 4 We are confident of all this because of our great trust in God through Christ. 5 It is not that we think we are qualified to do anything on our own. Our qualification comes from God. 6 He has enabled us to be ministers of his new covenant. This is a covenant not of written laws, but of the Spirit. The old written covenant ends in death; but under the new covenant, the Spirit gives life.

SUPPLICATION

Hebrews 8:6-8 (NLT): 6 But now Jesus, our High Priest, has been given a ministry that is far superior to the old priesthood, for he is the one who mediates for us a far better covenant with God, based on better promises. 7 If the first covenant had been faultless, there would have been no need for a second covenant to replace it. 8 But when God found fault with the people, he said: “The day is coming, says the Lord, when I will make a new covenant with the people of Israel and Judah.

1 Peter 1:21-22 (NLT): 21 Through Christ you have come to trust in God. And you have placed your faith and hope in God because he raised Christ from the dead and gave him great glory. 22 You were cleansed from your sins when you obeyed the truth, so now you must show sincere love to each other as brothers and sisters. Love each other deeply with all your heart.

ADORATION

Psalm 33:13-20 (NLT): 13 The Lord looks down from heaven and sees the whole human race. 14 From his throne he observes all who live on the earth. 15 He made their hearts, so he understands everything they do. 16 The best-equipped army cannot save a king, nor is great strength enough to save a warrior. 17 Don’t count on your warhorse to give you victory—for all its strength, it cannot save you.

CONFESSION

Matthew 18: 21-22 (MSG): 21 At that point Peter got up the nerve to ask, “Master, how many times do I forgive a brother or sister who hurts me? Seven?” 22 Jesus replied, “Seven! Hardly. Try seventy times seven.”

THANKSGIVING

Psalm 94:18-19 (NLT): 18 I cried out, “I am slipping!” but your unfailing love, O Lord, supported me. 19 When doubts filled my mind, your comfort gave me renewed hope and cheer.

SUPPLICATION

Philippians 1:28-30 (NLT) 28 Don’t be intimidated in any way by your enemies. This will be a sign to them that they are going to be destroyed, but that you are going to be saved, even by God himself. 29 For you have been given not only the privilege of trusting in Christ but also the privilege of suffering for him. 30 We are in this struggle together. You have seen my struggle in the past, and you know that I am still in the midst of it.

No special appeals for funds. Keep it simple.

ADORATION

Job 12:13-16 (NLT): 13 “But true wisdom and power are found in God; counsel and understanding are his. 14 What he destroys cannot be rebuilt. If he releases the waters, they flood the earth. 16 Yes, strength and wisdom are his; deceivers and deceived are both in his power.

CONFESSION
Mark 6:10-11 (MSG): 10 “And no luxury inns. Get a modest place and be content there until you leave. 11 “If you’re not welcomed, not listened to, quietly withdraw. Don’t make a scene. Shrug your shoulders and be on your way.”

THANKSGIVING

Mark 6:12-13 (MSG): 12Then they were on the road. They preached with joyful urgency that life can be radically different; 13 right and left they sent the demons packing; they brought wellness to the sick, anointing their bodies, healing their spirits.

SUPPLICATON

Matthew 18:18-20 (MSG): 18 “Take this most seriously: A yes on earth is yes in heaven; a no on earth is no in heaven. What you say to one another is eternal. I mean this. 19 When two of you get together on anything at all on earth and make a prayer of it, my Father in heaven goes into action. 20 And when two or three of you are together because of me, you can be sure that I’ll be there.”

What is a Patriot?

What is a Patriot?

I woke up from a dream in the middle of last night with the Lord asking me the question, “What is a patriot?” This morning when I woke to the same question still lingering, I looked up the official definition and asked why the Lord was asking and highlighting this? Why now?
pātrēət noun
1. a person who vigorously supports their country and is prepared to defend it against enemies or detractors.
If you know me, you know that I believe, practice and understand the value and necessity of growing in the power of prayer; particularly in response to God’s directional voice. One role of PRAYER is defence another is FASTING. I love my country Canada and convinced she needs focused prayers, now more then ever. So do other countries, like our neighbors to the south. In fact all nations. However, in my heart I knew this question about “WHAT IS A PATRIOT?” represented MORE.
Also this morning I learned of a “Call to Prayer and Fasting” that our brother in the Lord, Lou Engel, released. THIS SO RESONATED when I read it and completely ECHOES as a “YES” answer to the question “WHAT IS A PATRIOT?” I knew immediately these two were related.
MARCH 8th – 11th, 2017 – 3 Day Esther Fast http://www.thecall.com/event/such-time
Formerly, during my role as Nat’l Director of Mothers Who Care (Moms who prayed God’s heart for their schools on a weekly basis) I used to call the women from this movement to FAST a couple times of year.
TODAY I sense it’s time to echo the sound of that same trumpet call again to WHOEVER senses God calling them to this. I humbly submit this call to you and your prayer teams.  I challenge women in particular, as ambassadors of the KINGDOM of HEAVEN and its standard of righteousness, to vigorously support your heavenly country and prepare to defend that in your own homes, your neighborhoods, your cities, your nation with an Esther FAST alongside other Princess Warriors March 8-11.
We are living in days requiring courage and humility to speak truth TO power. We MUST BE ANCHORED IN PRAYER and FASTING to push back evil.
We KNOW that our true opponent, adversary, foe, and rival is not flesh and blood, but the enemy of our soul – Satan. We UNDERSTAND the true attacker, heckler, disbeliever, cynic is also not flesh and blood but the critic opposed to Christ – the Devil.
Are you a patriot? Will you join me, as an army representing the KINGDOM of HEAVEN crying out in one voice – FOR SUCH A TIME AS THIS?!
“Any area of your life that does not have hope is under the influence of a lie.” (Bill Johnson) – Your laser focused PRAYER and FASTING can provide new opportunity for our Heavenly Father to shatter and smash the enemy and blow his lies out of the water to FREE PEOPLE. Do you see the need? God IS able – will we take Him seriously?
Exodus 15:2-3, 6 (NIV): God is my strength, God is my song, and, yes! God is my salvation. This is the kind of God I have and I’m telling the world! This is the God of my father—I’m spreading the news far and wide! 3God is a fighter, pure God, through and through. 6Your strong right hand, God, shimmers with power; your strong right hand shatters the enemy. In your mighty majesty you smash your upstart enemies. You let loose your hot anger and burn them to a crisp.
Humbly submitted for your prayerful consideration. Feel free to copy and paste and share this call (in its entirety) to those in your sphere of influence!
May our voices BOOM in heavenly realms!

Ephesians 4:29-31 (NIV): 29 Do not let any unwholesome talk come out of your mouths, but only what is helpful for building others up according to their needs, that it may benefit those who listen. 30 And do not grieve the Holy Spirit of God, with whom you were sealed for the day of redemption. 31 Get rid of all bitterness, rage and anger, brawling and slander, along with every form of malice.

THANKSGIVING

Ephesians 4:32 (NIV): 32 Be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving each other, just as in Christ God forgave you.

SUPPLICATION

Matthew 17:19-20 (NIV): 19When the disciples had Jesus off to themselves, they asked, “Why couldn’t we throw it out?”20“Because you’re not yet taking God seriously,” said Jesus. “The simple truth is that if you had a mere kernel of faith, a poppy seed, say, you would tell this mountain, ‘Move!’ and it would move. There is nothing you wouldn’t be able to tackle.”

ADORATION

Exodus 2:24-25 (NIV): 24God listened to their groanings. God remembered his covenant with Abraham, with Isaac, and with Jacob. 25God saw what was going on with Israel. God understood.

CONFESSION

Genesis 19:16-17 (MSG): 16Lot was dragging his feet. The men grabbed Lot’s arm, and the arms of his wife and daughters—God was so merciful to them!—and dragged them to safety outside the city. 17When they had them outside, Lot was told, “Now run for your life! Don’t look back! Don’t stop anywhere on the plain—run for the hills or you’ll be swept away.” 26But Lot’s wife looked back and turned into a pillar of salt.

THANKSGIVING

Exodus 3:4-6 (NIV): 4God saw that he had stopped to look. God called to him from out of the bush, “Moses! Moses!” He said, “Yes? I’m right here!” 5God said, “Don’t come any closer. Remove your sandals from your feet. You’re standing on holy ground.” 6Then he said, “I am the God of your father: The God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, the God of Jacob.” Moses hid his face, afraid to look at God.

SUPPLICATION

Exodus 14:13-14 (NIV) 13Moses spoke to the people: “Don’t be afraid. Stand firm and watch God do his work of salvation for you today. Take a good look at the Egyptians today for you’re never going to see them again. 14God will fight the battle for you. And you? You keep your mouths shut!”
